Steve turns 30!

I normally wouldn't be so quick to put up a new post, but Maddie's grandparents are here. She is busy keeping them busy, so I have some free time! Last night we had a semi-surprise party for Steve. He knew I was up to something, but he wasn't sure what it was. He was out mowing the yard and it looked like he was headed to wash his car, so I had to ruin the surprise and tell him to get inside and clean up! We had quite a crew, but as our families are growing, our parties are definitely changing. We were having some beautiful weather, so I suggested to some of the kids we go to the park. It ended up that the entire party headed to the park for some slidin' and swingin' fun. The most amazing part was that 4 toddlers and Carter (who is always good) were able to get along all night. Yeah! Steve had a good time, so thanks to everyone who took part. You only turn 30 once, so you better make it a good one.

Today he is out enjoying the birthday present I gave him...skydiving! He is too cool for tandem dives, so he is signed up for accelerated free-fall. Basically, after a 4 hour class, he and two instructors will jump out of a plane. Steve will be in charge of his own parachute and his own life. Yikes! He has always wanted to do it, so I may have started him in the way of a new hobby. I hope to watch him jump this afternoon, so maybe I will get some pictures on the blog this week.

I didn't know this many girls would fit on the trampoline, but they were having a good time jumping...
Lucy, Maddie, and Adi.

Here is our handsome William. He just had his first real haircut. His mom had been trimming him up here and there, but his new 'do really made him look grown up last night.

I'm a bad picture-taker, so this is a little blurry. Maddie and William are just 5 months apart.

Here are some of the boys on he swings. At least Tyler is holding William. I don't know what the other boys are going to use as their excuse.
