Nothing new in Foxland

What are you looking  at?

Well, our boring life is probably becoming more evident to you all. I haven't posted anything in a few weeks and there isn't much to report. Stephen has been working on Sundays on a volunteer basis, so Mad and I have had some mother/daughter days. I'm not sure this is so good. I tend to bring out the drama queen in an otherwise sweet girl. I helped my dentist and now my endodontist (root canal specialist) buy new vehicles this week with a last minute root canal. The new crown will be coming soon. That puts me up to 4. You can all start putting bets on when I'll end up with false teeth. :)

9 Month Pictures

        Peek-a-boo is hilarious!

My, what big teeth I have!

For those keeping track, Maddie celebrated the 9 month marker on Friday. In the last month she has started eating more solid food - bananas, crackers, bread, noodles. All kinds of yumminess. She thinks she is big stuff and of course is now showing no interest in the pureed stuff. She is starting to hold her bottles if she is in the mood, which isn't really very often.

She started clapping and waving; both skills she practices constantly. When she waves she sometimes makes sounds that sound like 'hi' and 'bye'. If a song strikes her right, she will dance, which is one of my favorite new tricks. The other day the Black Eyed Peas came on t.v. and she moved as fast as she could to get to the t.v. so she could shake her thang. Sadly, I didn't get the video camera out in time to capture it.

Throwing things is another fun past-time for Maddie. She does it for fun when I'll pick them up, but more often she does it to prove a point. For example, "pick me up, now," is best represented by throwing every toy and pacifier out of her playpen while giving me the evil eye. The teenage years should be fun!

Really, we just need boxes and paper for Christmas. The toys are the least important part.

We're looking forward to Thanksgiving and spending our time off with our favs, especially those cute cousins. Sorry to the rest of you, but getting gravy off Lucy's chin is a lot cuter than getting it off of Michael's! We have so much to be thankful for.
