Christmas Card Photoshoot

Here is a hodgepodge of cute pictures I took in an effort to get a good one for the Christmas card. I think I have figured out some settings on the camera that work for me. In the picture where she looks like she is scared, she is actually smiling. She is able to stand on her own now and is learning to get down, which is what is going on in the picture. As you can tell by the glee on her face, she LOVES standing up. She acts so proud of herself when she is doing it.
In this picture, Maddie was tapping her feet on the floor. She likes to kick things with her hard-soled shoes. This little chair rocks and she was able to rock back and forth while kicking the floor. It would probably have entertained her for hours if I hadn't been afraid of lead poisoning from the seat. The chair belonged to my grandfather or great-grandfather on the Moore side, so it has been around awhile.

These pictures are just some fun shots in the kitchen. The one with Steve is from tonight. He had just gotten home from work and Maddie just happened to still be up and ready for fun. Steve opened his mouth, because he knew Maddie would have her's open, as she usually does. The other pictures are showing her eating. She is eating all table food now along with her regular bottles. She can drink out of a sippy cup and holds her own bottle. The dogs are eating this up....literally. You can see Gracie waiting for a treat, both unintentional and intentional. Every day she grows up a little more.
