Charlie Pictures Post One

Here is a photo update of our Charlie. He is still an easy going baby, and thanks to his big sister, he is developing nerves of steel. He is sleeping in 3 to 4 hour stretches during the night, which is pretty wonderful. Right now they are a little shorter because he seems to think he is hungry all of the time. We have tried giving him more formula, but that usually ends in a messy mess, as Maddie would say. For as easy a demeanor as he has, he is an equally difficult kid to feed. Maddie threw up maybe twice in all of her bottle days; Charlie throws up all of the time. He is a gulper, so we have been trying to burp him every half ounce or so to slow him down. This does not go over well with Charlie, and he is surprisingly strong. He bangs his head on your face or shoulder in search of his next bite. I am head-over-heels in love with the kiddo. Not that I didn't adore Maddie, but I keep saying this is my last baby so maybe I'm trying to eat up every precious moment I have with him. Or, maybe it is the opposite gender baby thing. Steve is wrapped around Maddie's finger, so I might have the same problem with this little cutie.

 Look at these muscles!

Charlie always had his fist near his face in ultrasounds, so I like to see him sleep like that now.

Big sister time....she loves to hold him, but as soon as she is done she tries to jump up with him still in her lap. I told you he would have nerves of steel.

Look at that smirk...he'll be a charmer.

I think this is a sweet face.
