Maddie is growing and changing by leaps and bounds. When we got home Saturday night, we were playing in the living room. I happened across an old cell phone I had given her to play with several weeks ago. She picked it up, looked at me, and put it to her ear and started talking away. WHAT? She's not big enough to mimick me. I guess I better stop yelling at the dogs, because she is starting to yell at them, too. She is saying lots of new 'words'. 'Zubba' and 'dapples' are her most used words, but tonight she said something that sounded like 'apple juice'. Oh, and maybe 'bad dogs'. Again, I have to stop yelling at the dogs!

Two of her top molars peeked through last week, which was quite a surprise. I'm still waiting for some more of the front teeth. I was sure they would come through first, but I'm beginning to wonder if she has them at all.
Daddy is currently on his annual ski/snowboarding trip. It sounds like he is having fun and running into things he shouldn't....rocks, trees. I thought he knew to go away from the hard things that could crush his body, but some things he just can't learn. Anyway, we miss him more than ever and can't wait for him to get home.
I probably won't post again until after her birthday....just a couple of weeks away. Time moves quickly in the land of motherhood!
