What!?

Wow! I don't know how that happened. We are just 10 months away from the next Christmas! I am actually missing the holidays this year. Maddie was an absolute blast to have around for Christmas because she found magic in everything. The tree. Santa. Jingle the Elf. The presents. The movie. The stockings. You get it. She LOVED Christmas. She had a blast opening presents; so much, in fact, that she opened Charlie's, mine, and Steve's. Santa followed through and brought her a set of 8 Disney Princess Barbies. She was in heaven! Charlie really only cared about the paper...of course.

We had celebrations on Christmas Eve at my dad's house, Christmas morning at home, Christmas Day at my mom's, and then we headed to Florida to celebrate with the Fox Family.

I have to confess, I left one Christmas movie on the DVR and about once a week we watch the Disney version of The Christmas Carol and we don't plan to stop!

 Derek and Sarah announced their engagement a few days before Christmas. We are so excited that Derek is officially joining our family. Maddie says that Dewek and Sawah are really cool. She is right!

On Christmas morning, Mom read a letter announcing that Michael and Samantha are also engaged. We are also so excited about Samantha joining the family. Way to go Michael-Michael and Sam!
